I caught one last summer on a rubber jig. You talk about a bite!! Line jumped 2 ft in the black light. Thought I had the world record small mouth for a second. Then maybe a big flat head. But was a 5 ft sturgeon.

There's a sturgeon petting zoo near me at Freshwater Farms of Ohio. It's on State Route 68, just North of Urbanna, Ohio. They are the largest producer of indoor raised trout. They are a fish hatchery too. It's free to take a self guided tour there.

They host the Ohio Shrimp and Fish Festival every year.
