Found the the match this evening. 60 inches add in 15 for width and that is what a 137 looks like.

I got the cable and 1/4 tape out for you, the bases are 5-6/8 and 5-0/8 the main beams are 23- 5/8 and 23-4/8. I really only put these on cause I figure some of the guys here may appreciate them. I score numerous deer every year along with occasional elk, moose, mule deer ect. I'm not pulling your leg or making up numbers if I've offended you or any one else here, it was not my intentions.

Had a buddy travel out of state to hunt and sent me pics similar to something like that and claimed gross B&C. Being a good buddy I am I told him to head to the hospital before traveling because he’d done hit his head!!
Had to eat crow when he brought me the rack to score. That joker had over 90” in just mass and beams!!
Pics can be VERY deceiving both ways!

Nate imagine if ole boy put on some tine length!
Do y’all have a history with this buck? That kind of mass down here equates to some age.

No history at all, an ole school mate has a little farm and he doesn't hunt he could care less about antlers, but they were on his farm, I think it's cool this ole buck found a hidy hole and as far as I'm concerned I hope he lives and dies peacefully of old age.

Them VA fellers are good people. Good on ya Mr. 52Carl.

nate, congrats on finding the sheds.

Good morning Nate. Nice finds.

It's gonna be hard to pass up that young buck next year, but you probably should. Even though he's only an eight pointer, he's got a lot of growing left to do.

I understand stand you, but these other are pathetic.
1. Is the mass measurement.18
H 1- 5- 5/8
2- 5- 3/8
3- 4-6/8
4- 2-7/8 is actually 17 5/8
2. Main beam is. 23 3/8
3. Is tine length.
G 1 is 4 7/8
2 is 7 6/8
3 is 8 7/8 total is 21 4/8
Let me know if you have any other questions.
On a shed you have four mass measurements, the length of the main beam and the length of the tines. There is no width measurement.

So is shed scoring totally irrelevant to normal scoring because if not, either the pics are deceiving or that's not a 63" inch shed. No way that buck scored 137". I have a buck that scored 145" and its twice as big. Or, is B&C drastically different then P&Y?

Scoring is scoring. He gave the measurements, lol.
We score sheds all the time and add in spread based on previous years pics. What’s really cool is to see how much they add on year to year.
My son found sheds of the deer he killed this past year and his sheds measured 153” bases on a 14” spread. His buck scored 176” this year.
When you get a little age on you, you’ll realize pics can be VERY deceiving.

52Carl, yeah if he stays an 8 next year as well, he’ll probably be taken. He’d make a great kid buck or even a nice archery buck for someone. What’s funny is he put my feeder behind his house so they could watch deer and set up a box stand for kids and that little buck showed up.

Might surprise you next year, they'll usually put on several inches from 3.5 - 4.5 , he'll probably remain a 4x4 but they can and are beautiful specimens. Thanks for sharing the photos.
