Hawbaker's original coon lure.
A alfalfa field the morning after it has been cut if there is a heavy due or a light rain on it.

Entirely homemade apple pie, with cinnamon coming out of the oven.
To be a child again, and learning all the smells that came with it.

The smell of coffee brewing and bacon frying from the campsite up the way, while I sit on a rock contemplating my cold Bagel.

Prime Rib slowing being roasted.

I got myself a seniors' GPS.
Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination,
it tells me why I wanted to go there.

Coffee brewing Bacon frying Pumpkin pie just out of the oven The smell of fresh fallen leaves in the fall Hoppes #9 The fresh smell of burnt gunpowder on a damp foggy morning when it lingers in the air The smell of burnt powder after having fired both barrels of your over and under shotgun and made a double on ducks or pheasants And the number #1 answer has t be the smell of a wad of brand new Ben Franklin $100,00 bills maybe you received a bonus at work or your fur check exceed your best expectations But whatever the reason you suddenly have play money to get your self thing you have wanted for awhile and now it is soon to yours I would chose the smell of fresh burnt shotgun powder after having taken a double on ducks or pheasants Because if you don' know the meaning of life the smell or burnt gun powder at least tells you what the true meaning of life smells like. And some things are just not possible to put a price tag on And lucky for most of us outdoors people we know that and live life to the fullest Thanks for the thread there where many good replies
