I read this statement on a really old thread. Is this statement accurate? What kind of value estimate would someone have on a 1 1/2 coilspring that was made in Cambridge, NY?

I don’t think it’s particularly rare especially the 1 1/2 coil which was probably the most common trap of the time. I was buying lots of the coil springs in the early to mid 80’s and I have hundreds with the Cambridge pans and still use some every year on the water line. Maybe other models have fair value but it’s just a $5 dollar trap unless it’s NOS then $10-15. If someone has more info hopefully they will chime in.
