I was thinking it's a masonry tool but I'm not sure
Any help would be appreciated, thanks

Looks like someone welded a sickle section to it.

Looks too flimsy for a masonry tool to me. How long is the handle?

12". The holes are what made me think it was for mixing mud on the board

I am guessing the holes are for mounting some sort of blade or other attachment that could be replaced. I don't think it was intended for very heavy use because the handle is pretty short and the head is not of heavy construction.

Could it be that this was Boco's first frost-scraping tool? (said with the inflection of the narrator on Oak Island)

I have seen tools for splitting Cedar Shakes that look similar but not exactly like that.

I have nothing clever to put here.

Something light duty.

It is a few pounds so I guess I'll replace the handle and sharpen both ends and see how it works for chopping out a trap bed
Or castrate a few pigs grin
