Charbroil tru inferred The thing rocks, and will due about 700 degrees Hated mine. I finally drug it to the curb last year. Those "infrared" grates/heat plenums were the devil. What a nightmare to clean, then they rusted out.. I only kept it for the sideburner for the last year. Then it got all buggered up. Tore it all apart and cleaned it, replaced the regulator, tried different tanks, all to no avail. Had good luck with Char Broils up till then.

I am going to go get my last gas grill out of the dump pit and make it into a wood fired pizza grill. It will sit on a fire ring I made and have the bottom open to catch heat from burning wood below it. It will just be the cast case with the grate. That is as close as I will get to using a propane grill again. I would have it home now, but the snow is to deep to chance driving the PU out there.

My brother sells made in usa grills! Cast aluminum body's but best thing is, they have a lifetime warranty on the burners! Had mine now for probably 20 years and only replaced them once. Need some brand names!

If I am going to cook with gas I use the kitchen stove. Nothing beats a nice beef steak cooked on a grill over the coals of a wood fueled fire. Trap stakes work too. Just lay several across on rocks.
