numb hands might be carpal tunnel. try wearing a wrist brace that keeps your hands straight while you sleep. if the pain in your back is not your lower back it might cause the numbness. stenosis happens to everyone as they age. discs get thinner. not much can be done about it. all just guess's but a wrist brace works when my carpal tunnel acts up. wife has trouble with stenosis.

Numb hands and feet aren't normal? Hopefully you get it figured out and back to normal soon.

What area? Most people grab a heating pad but trust me ice pack is your friend. If it’s inflammation ice helps Definitely lower back. I LOVE ice for spasms I’m already roasting most of the time

carpal tunnel for your hands going numb.Arthritis is no fun.Pinched nerves are bad.If you have a pinched nerve in your lower back it might be effecting your legs and feet. The easest way to find out is have someone push down on one of your feet and see if you can still lift that foot. Then do the other foot.

Honestly, a weak back can be alleviated by strengthening your stomach muscles.
Not a jab or an ugly statement, Just something that tremendously helped my back.
Hope you pain gets alleviated some way some how. Back pain is awful. I definitely need to do my exercises. PT helped me before. I seem to only do them when I am hurting and not regularly. Thank u

Around here a chiropractor can be had for $40- 50. I only need 5 or 6 trips a year but when I need one I need one. …. Had to once …. Started with lower back pain then went numb from the waste down … that would not stand lol …went to the cowboy chiropractor in town and been good ever since

Thank u Had a man I knew who did daily stretches after a car crash in his teens damaged his spine. Did them every day for over 20 years without back pain and then a bad week made him stop doing them daily and suddenly his back pain from over 20 years ago came back.

The muscles need relaxed in the area of the pain. Tens unit 30 minutes. Stretch while cooling down. Your back will go back in place. Chiropractors that just adjust help but the muscles will pull it back out.

Ouch am I hurting today! Anybody know how to distinguish what may be the cause? Muscular, skeletal or nerve?? It feels almost like there is no cushion. Bone on bone pain. Like if I’m leaning against a table holding a pet for an exam and then I straighten up, it hurts. I put tiger balm on and got in the inversion table for a spell. Starting to wonder if there’s something else happening. My hands go numb at night when I’m sleepin Maybe ElChucko needs to do some physical therapy.
