Does anyone have arched windows with blinds that can open and close? For some reason I’m not having much luck finding something affordable.

If you find some, I'd like to know.
We have a south facing arched window in the dining room. We only eat in there when we have company over. In winter, the sun is brutal. So I used a heat gun on some 1/2" pvc pipe to bend it into a matching arch, then covered it in white fabric. When we need to use the room and the sun a problem, we stick that in the arch. The pvc arch is sized so there's just a little tension as it slides into place so it won't fall out.
We use it a couple times a year.

I used to own a company that furnished and installed custom wood blinds. No we never had a moveable arch louvre that functioned. Most were made stationary closed, some stationary partially open. These louvres were set in their arch frames in a fan shape like a turkey tail.

Standard moveable louvre panels went in hinged as normal up to the start of the arch, or to the window transom, above that stationary arched panels with stationary louvres were attached in the radius permanently. If the arch panels were lighter framed my guys would some times magnet them into place so they could be popped out for window cleaning.

We did on a couple occasions for bigger rooms with windows that had a horizontal transom up where the arch started, mount the arch panel or panels with hinges across the bottoms so with a custom pull rod (separate) you could pull the panels open from the top and let the panel come down towards the room interior. Magnets held those panels in place from behind on top in the window jamb when closed. Again no louvres actually moved.

We did not as a rule handle metal or aluminum or the other faux shutter products.

Thanks for the info Osky, I’ll keep looking around.

Blinds.com is tough to navigate. Maybe I’ll call them
