I gave my feedback a little while back on this topic. Today while doing basic work in our facility I found a good opportunity to show and share. Just a little peak into my world. I trust I won't make anyone a bit queezy but it is a learning moment for some.

Shown in the photo there are some interesting things that will help you to breakdown some facts via forensic evaluation.

First of all, what is it that you see, and what does it represent.

I would guess chime - stomach contents. I am unable to zoom to tell what the white may be.

I vote bobcat stomach contents. Can’t tell what you’ve got there. Middle pile looks like trash, crabs, or eggs to me. Maybe a seafood buffet?

The middle one looks like the bones of small critters that were washed out of owl poo. The other two are stomach contents.

Stomach content answers are correct. The small white chard pieces are in fact a type of soft pliable plastic.

The white pieces were mixed in with the contents of the stomach and caught my attention. I tediously pulled each plastic piece out from the meat and hair to show separately as to the volume and size of the chewed pieces.

The contents was taken from a large bobcat carcass as I was removing glands.

I have my suspicions as to what the white plastic is, because I have seen this before. There was signs of a large rodent most likely a barn rat and some cottontail rabbit hair and parts.

Definitely some hay/silage in the contents. What do you think the white plastic was and how it got into the stomach contents?
