they make a material called frog skinz thats adhesive however its more expensive depending on hole size then a replacement screen. i have to replace those all the time on my ace and tundras.
When there is shot in the air, there is hope. When in doubt, throttle out! ATA, NTA, NATCA, ITA

Sounds like I just need to buy some of that and replace it. Awful poor design. The windshield literally directs sticks right into the corner

Does that go straight into the air intake? My Skandic SWT has that same screen on the left side cowling and I stuck a stick through it this week, but it is just into the open space above the belt, not going straight into the air intake, so I figured it would be ok.

Well, it's a vent, meant to keep snow dust and stuff out that goes....somewhere....but to be honest, I haven't looked to see. New sled and all

The windshield in fastening in general is junk. I glued mine on with silicone, didn’t work. Looking at drilling some holes and using zip ties. Annoying. If they are like the Skandic, glue those rubber grommets in before you lose them (speaking from experience) and then a little oil on the holes in the grommets makes the pegs in the windshield go through them a lot easier. I'm not even sure mine came with all the rubber grommets from the factory, anyways I was missing some before I ever took the windshield off, and the little plastic hook on the front point of the windshield was broken off. Once I glued the new grommets in and oiled them I haven't had any issues, but it isn't a design I would have came up with.

It pops off before it gets broken when I am sliding backwards down hills and it gets caught on brush. Or when I am back up and it gets caught on brush.
