Movie is a reminder that if you are going off grid somewhere, and you have an unusual caliber rifle, you better be able to reload your own. At minimum, primers, powder, lead mold and whack a mole dies. That might even apply to anyone, anywhere.
Funny thing about old westerns........or most movies in general. Six shooters can fire all day without reloading. And no matter who they are, where they are, they never seem to run out of ammo.
Easy to vote your way into socialism, but impossible to vote your way out of it.

Quigley Down Under is a great movie for sure. But, I liked him better in the Jesse Stone series. He makes an awesome, tough, no nonsense chief of police.
My doctor suggested I start doing squats, so I moved all the beer to the bottom shelf of my fridge.

One of my favorites. Selleck has an extensive gun collection and sometimes uses his own guns in movies. In "crossfire trail" he had a break top revolver. Although they were not an uncommon gun, the Scofield revolvers hardly ever showed up in westerns. In Quigley, he's the co star, the Sharps is the real star.
Right now I’m having amnesia and déjà vu at the same time. I think I’ve forgotten this before.

I really like Selleck. He walked off the Rosie O’Donnell show when she got snippy about guns.
What I can’t understand is how they talked him into selling reverse mortgages to old people on TV. Can’t figure it. It's called money.
