Can we get that info through one of the auction contacts? How do you find out how your fur did, just wait for the check? First time I’ve sent fur there so just wondering…….

You will get a detailed print out of how each lot did, along with a check. It’s tough waiting.

You might be able to get in touch with your contact person but I’m betting they are all very busy. Live auction could still be going on. Takes a lot of volunteer help to make these sales happen. And after almost a week of being there, they are plumb wore out!!

Yep, understood. I didn’t want to bother them, just wondered how we saw our sales and if overall averages would be included as well so you can see how you did against the total

You don't understand that our Governor is a huge and ardent Animal Rights Activist., gay and enormously influenced by his Vegan partner. And, is using every bit of information against us that he possibly can. Like inferring that cage trapping is wiping out the swift fox, when most of them on the Colorado sale come from other states. Besides, we have a large and healthy population of Swifts. It make no sense to give him more information that can be twisted and distorted to use against us. I understand you want to know what happened, so just call someone you are acquainted with here and ask the question, instead of bashing.

Coyotes were a rough bunch, mostly from states east and south of Colorado. There were only a small handfull of Colorado coyotes, 5-6 Wyoming's five Montana's. Most of the sale were coyotes from Oklahoma, Kansas, a few Iowa's and south of those states. Tough money!

Whatever numbers they could find wouldn't be official

Those guys are the ones in the front line fighting the battle. I'll take their word for it they think it's prudent they don't give out final #s.

NOT MY CALL. Besides they don't know what states particular species come from. I believe we had fur from seventeen states, and without that info they don't know up from down. So, we wait for them to put their foot in mouth. They just go on into something else when proven wrong. I hope this answered your question sufficiently.

UTA already posted the results for the Nephi sale. You can see the price paid for each lot. No, we can't see what state the furs are from, but so what, you can plainly see what the market is doing. None of this is meant as an attack, just another perspective. I hope the Colorado sale went well and the trappers were happy for what they got for their fur.

The fine folks at in Colorado did a great job as usual but the sale was disappointing. Like farming there is always next year. Thanks to everyone that worked there and volunteered their time to make the sale happen.
