The Techsew 602 is one of the machines I use. It sews heavy wildfur exceptionally well and can do heavy skins like bear and Bison with a little adjustment. Getting parts fast can be an issue with the Techsew machines. That said, a well tuned and adjusted Bonis "B", is always my go to.

I bought mine many years ago at a major sewing machine distributor here in the valley, was going to order a new one, until I spotted a couple in the used machine area, was 82 or 83 I think took the newer of the two both B's

Been a great machine at the time the cost for the used through them was 2K, but came with a year warranty and it's own table

You might have good luck if you have a major sewing area around or jump on the net to find a use one, at the time Bonis was not selling to general public, but might now, they are heavy so shipping is going to be a bit

There are a couple others out there similar to Bonis, but I don't believe they are as stout as the Bonis machines, which ever make sure you get for or five loopers with it and needles, if you have never used one before jump on the net and watch a lot of vids to help you, those loopers are expensive as well, wish they were made of a heavier material !

Surprised you can't find one closer to you where you live, they were used like crazy up in that area !!

Thanks for the feedback

How long did you use the techsew for before you had to replace parts and what parts needed replacing?

Been using the 602 for 3-4 years, everything's fine, so far. Needles, one guide, that's it.
