Hey all.... don't know if this subject has been posted on Trapperman and if it has I apologize. If you are looking for something to do this fall here is an idea. Chadron is in NW Nebraska (a couple hour drive from Mount Rushmore and SW South Dakota) and home to the Museum of the Fur Trade... Chadron is also about 30-35 miles from historic Fort Robison and is located in a region with much history from days gone by. There is tons of public land and Chadron State Park nearby which is super scenic. There are some very scenic unique sites to visit within an hour or two drive from Chadron. And a diverse amount of wildlife....... elk, mule deer, whitetail deer, bighorn sheep, antelope, mountain lions and the usual furbearers. Many times have I driven the roads (I go up there every fall to hunt.. sometimes for summer trips too) thru some canyons or grasslands and the Pine Ridge and have seen many of these magnificent animals. Just a heads up if someone is looking for a road trip come fall !! [Linked Image]

Been a few years since I've been to the museum but it was definitely worth the visit!
