So the wife birthday is coming up..and she's been wanting one of these little table top dishwashers for a while now.... The woman loves getting cleaning stuff for gifts what can I say , for her a mop a few months ago with the fancy spinning bucket and she was literally jumping and down she was so happy but hay if it what makes her a happy lol.

Anyhow she wants one of the table top ones not a full sized ( thinks their cute I guess) one and I see there a few dozen on Amazon all for about the same $300 so anyone have experience with them ? Any y'all would reccomend ?

I got married to solve my dirty dishes problem. You need to have a kid or three. Once the one you have now gets really tired of it you will have some spares.

Actually just had a pregnancy scare well not really a scare I guess since I want kids but she was freaking out a lil shoot my parents are both just waiting so they can retire and be full time grandparents

I remember having my dishwasher on the table top a time or two, been a looong time ago though.

my first house had a portable dish washer , basically a regular dish washer in a cabinet with wheels , you rolled it over next to the sink , where if blocked the bathroom door , hooked it to the faucet , turned the water on and to hot.

the waste hose dumped into the sink from the bottom of the part that got water from the faucet

it worked , but dish washers are already small enough and counter space already little enough , I would give up a cabinet or get a rolling portable dishwasher

when it wasn't in use it stored between the fridge and counter where there was a knee to ceiling window. 1873 house so they wanted lots of big windows for light to work , never though about counters and cabinets all around. That house had 4 doors and 2 knee to ceiling windows ,

my current house 1909 construction has 5 doors and one knee to ceiling window and one window counter height to ceiling.
the stove sits between 2 doors but it works and I found room for the dishwasher

Table top dishwasher? Mine stands in front of the sink!!

We never had a dishwasher , when the kids could reach the sink it became their job, they took turns, now my wife still does them by hand, really doesn't take much time at all...

I wash and my wife drys, it gives us time to talk about the day.

A dishwasher does nothing but make people lazy. We have one at work yet there are always plates and spoons smeared with peanut butter and sauce and what not sitting in the sink. No one ever loads or unloads it. I wish we never got one. I’ll hand wash my own stuff that I use and ignore it

Don't get me started on that... Tell her all the time if she just washes her stuff ( she eat a bow of ramen most nights) when she's don't she won't have a pile of dishes to do...but she HAS to have a dishwashing day. Might only be three dishes , it has to be a scheduled deal. Idk it's not worth fighting over IMO. Place is clean when I'm home and she has it spotless after her cleaning days so

We have 2 of the portable rolling dishwashers, they work well, but occasionally need hoses and hardware replaced. We have had to glue the agitator/sprayer of the one we have used since I bought the farm in 2012, 3 times, including last week. We had both dishwashers long before we got together, going on 17 years ago. The dishwashers were probably made around 1995.

Welp ended up getting the one made by Ecozy. Had to knock the bottom out of one of the cabinets.... Really need to put in new ones are I redo the drywall... But it's a neat lil deal. Fill it up with water add your detergent and of the lil guy goes. Just drain off into the sink. Think it a lil silly since it takes 2 hrs to do the little load you can stuff in it ...but she's over the moon with the lil sucker so



Now....back to the honey do list.... Messed up and welded wr up a rebar shoe rack now she just thinks it's the best thing ever and wants a few more think imma try and convince her to get a maid or something next
