I started with 2 dozen assorted traps from a yard sale in 73 that are all collectors now. I should have kept them. They were B&L, diamond, triump, kangaroo, Newhouse and one that the pan said Hawkins trap company wich was pre Blake and Lamb. Then in 75 I bought a dozen diamond 22s new off the shelf to start fox trapping for 39.95 from a fur buyer at Tubbs lake michigan. They were new old stock then in 75. That was not cheap then but I was getting good money for muskrats $6-$8 then. And fox were about $40. Hind site is 20 20 right?
