Just squeezing it out in a spoon and chasing it down with glass of water or what?
I'm intrigued.
Side effects? Does it wipe out the good bacteria in your gut and your body needs to adjust?
What's the going schedule for dosing in covid/flu/cold season? For the chiggers, we took 1% injectable Ivermectin. I just pulled the correct dosage out of the bottle with a syringe. I'm not a doctor. We took 1/10th of a cc for every 10 pounds we weighed. That's the same dosage I use on dogs for heart worm, mange, mites and to limit fleas and ticks. If I ever get chiggers bad again, I won't hesitate to take Ivomec again. Keith

I've used Ivomec on us, dogs, goats, cattle, rabbits and birds. For birds, I add it to water, with a little Blue Dawn, to break up the oil, so that it can mix through the water. Without using Blue Dawn, the Ivomec will Just float on top of the water in the inert oil used as a carrier for Ivomec.

I'm a little concerned reading this because I see the topic rapidly switching back and forth between different chemicals. If you post, it might be a good idea to specifically mention which chemical you're referring to in each comment.
Ivermectin was first used as a wormer, first in animals and then in humans. River blindness is caused by a parasitic worm that travels to the hosts eyes (yipes). I remember visibly cringing when we studied it in parasitology. Anyway, Ivermectin kills that and numerous other types of internal and external parasites. It won the Nobel prize in medicine for parasitic applications.
In more recent history, Ivermectin has been found to kill COVID-19 and also appears to ward off seasonal influenza and the RSV virus. I am not familiar with other applications, but it is time for me to go back and read some more research. Who knows what other research is being conducted. Probably more to come!
Agreed! Couple different products for differing "ailments" being tossed back and forth. Read carefully and in doubt ask for clarification. Chris

Here are the current recommendations from the Independent Medical Alliance (formerly the FLCCC Alliance) website for Ivermectin... Ivermectin: In the current situation of abundant natural immunity along with the recent circulation of less severe and more highly transmissible variants, chronic weekly or twice weekly ivermectin prophylaxis is no longer applicable to most people.
The following prophylaxis approaches with ivermectin can be considered and applied based on patient preference, comorbid status, immune status, and in discussion with their provider:
Twice weekly ivermectin at 0.2mg/kg; can be considered in those with significant comorbidity and lack of natural immunity or immunosuppressive states or those with long COVID or post-vaccine syndrome who are not already on ivermectin as treatment
Daily ivermectin just prior to and during periods of high possible exposure such as travel, weddings, conferences, etc. Immediate initiation of daily ivermectin at treatment doses (0.4mg/kg) upon first symptoms of a viral syndromehttps://imahealth.org/ivermectin/The above page is extremely informative reading. If you scroll down to The History of Ivermectin, you will see a video of Dr. Pierre Kory when he testified in front of the US Senate in 2020. I watched the whole thing live that day. As I am reminded of that, I get angry all over again. Those guys worked hard and fast to explore the possibility of an existing, safe and inexpensive drug being effective against COVID-19, and they were sooooo exited to find one. They jeopardized the potential massive profits to be made by the pharmaceutical companies making new vaccines, and they were squashed like grapes by our corrupt agencies and people like Fauci while money changed hands throughout. All were full of crap at our expense. They would not allow a $3 cure (at that time) to undermine their corrupt business. For the record, The IMA or FLCCC Alliance does not recommend substituting veterinary Ivermectin for a human prescription - That is merely the route chosen by many in the know in the veterinary (and broader medical) world to simply save lives if we were denied access by doctors. Besides, who would want to miss that wonderful apple flavor? Rusty, I have not yet found an answer to your question about wiping out good gut flora. After being treated for years with antibiotics for tick bite diseases, I always take a good probiotic right before I go to bed at night. My Lyme doc always said not to take any antibiotics for at least two hours before bed so as not to kill the probiotics. I do not know about Ivermectin's role in killing good flora, only bad parasites. I'll let you know if I see anything.
