I went through a scenario nearly identical to this one and coincidentally it also involved a massive pitbull. It's not a situation I should rehash online but I would say kudos to that man, because I can speak from first hand experience saying that when a psychotic animal like that is barreling down on you full speed and ready to eat your face off, even if you have a weapon it might not work out the way you tell yourself it would if you were in that scenario. Even I missed with the first shot, but after that, instincts and muscle memory kicked in and I didn't miss with the rest... good job keeping the little one safe.

With the frequency of incidences involving pit bulls, there's more need to carry to protect you and yours from them than from bad guys. I have no use for that breed. And some will get on and say how sweet their pit is, blah blah blah. Up in till something trips their trigger and they chew some kids face off. Deadly short fuse and it takes bullets to turn them off.

Them little Mexican dogs are the equivalent,,,,, they pack up…

Probably saved that pit owner a huge pile of money if it had gotten to that kid.

Never cared for the breed myself. I don’t care if someone else owns one but I would never own one with kids in the home.
