Went to doc after 1st episode. All he gave me was a couple sheets of paper with vertigo exercises.

I might need another doc.

My doctor prescribed physical therapy for me after my last bout with vertigo. It made a huge difference after just a few treatments.

Swamp get an appointment with an ENDOCRINOLOGIST. I had similar issues after a year of screwing around and me being in denial I started to loose my hearing in my right ear . Ended up with an mri on my brain which he suggested a yr before. Final diagnosis was a tumor in my right ear (acoustic neuroma). Very slow growth. See that guy.

Never had any thing like that in my life, one night at work, I sat down for line out, and turned my head to talk to some one, and the whole room rotated with me, turned the other way and it got worse. Knew I could not work that way that night

Arranged for a drive home, went to an ENT emergency doc and both my ears were major packed with wax, had finally reached a limit the wax was pushing in on my ear drums. Gave me some ear drops came back a half hour later and carved most of the wax out with a nifty tool, sent me home with the bottle of stuff and told me to gently use those ear cleaners after taking a shower and letting the water pressure lean on the inside of my ears, don't be poking in on then, gently roll and pull out

Every thing been fine since, that was me, you or someone else may have a different, thing, but before doing anything I would
get an appt. to a ENT Doc !!

I used to work maintenance in a factory and had those baffled earplugs. Well after work one night I was in bad shape. Had no idea what vertigo was but I could barely walk and felt nauseated like I’d never been before. I thought I’ll just go to bed and be fine in the morning. Opened my eyes the next morning and thought I was great until I attempted to get up. It was so bad it really freaked my wife out. She knew enough about my symptoms to get me an appointment with an ENT.
Ole boy takes me in and looks in my ears and said I see the issue. He got a pair of curved hemostats and reached in my ear and pulled something out. I swear I jumped off the chair when he pulled because it sounded like a shotgun blast had gone off! Turns out the last baffle of my ear plug had broke off and sealed to my ear drum!! Within an hour I was back to normal.
If that was vertigo, you have my complete understanding and prayers! That was about as messed up, head wise, as I’d ever been and hope to never experience anything like that again!!

You have my sympathy!! I had vertigo one time and never want to experience it again! It was like being the most drunk you’ve ever been and multiplying it by 10! Mine was due to an ear infection.

I’ve had vertigo come and go since 2008. Had a mild episode two weeks ago, pretty much have it beat today. About 90% of the time, my vertigo starts in bed. Roll over, or turn my head to look at the clock, that’s how it starts. I’ve found I can no longer sleep on my left side, that’s how it ups the odds for trouble.

I used to like to watch trains go past while stopped and waiting. I can't do that anymore or my head starts spinnining. I know it's coming.

Hope you get it fixed better than what my doctor has done for me.

3 years ago my wife and I went shopping and when we got to the store I went to get out of the car and couldn't stand with everything spinning, went home and slept and when I woke up I was fine. Couple of weeks later everything was spinning again so I had my wife take me to the emergency room where I proceeded to vomit 13 times within 1.5 hours while they took blood watched my vitals etc. Everything came back normal and within 3 hours everything was done spinning. I had a appointment to get a mri and that came back good. The doctor then sent me to a neuroscience clinic for vertigo, once I got there the lady did her thing and said she does not think it's vertigo because if it was then she should be able to trigger the spinning/dizziness and she couldn't. The doctor then sent me to a ent where they ran a bunch more hearing test etc and they have decided that I have minears disease. The spinning comes and goes randomly, usually only 3-4 times a year, most times I get dizzy then vomit and then am fine after about a hour except for shakey for a few hours after the episode. I can also say that my right ear hearing comes and goes and when it transitions from good to bad or bad to good that is when I get dizzy. I also cannot watch train go by when I'm waiting for it because that makes.my head spin a little and I don't wanna chance getting dizzy from it.

Lay on your back on the bed where your head is hanging off the bed. Do on your back and on each side for a minute or 2. Really helps my vertigo
