Well my 3 boys 6,8 and10, decided they wanted to join the wrestling club this year.
Had a few practices, ran through some moves from when i was a kid. Took them to a tournament to watch just
To make sure they still wanted to do it after watching some kids get there butts whooped, well apparently they are
Naturals at it. We are at around 30 some matches in between them and they have only lost a few matches total. My oldest has only lost once so far and he ended up beating the same kid at another tournament a couple weeks later.

NE I coached for 30 years, got out primarily due to the rise of wrestling schools and we were no longer coaches but managers. The wrestling schools have taken over and parent-coached kids find it hard to compete as you move up in levels.. If they love love it, in the Green Bay Area there is an Askern Wrestling club. Highly successful. As much as I despise, AAU BBall, travel softball (i'm coaching for my32 year varsity) , wrestling schools, club volleyball, etc. I would recommend joining one in the near future to compete at the elite level.

This is great to see. It helps to have brothers to fight with. Wrestling is a great sport and can save a guys bacon and gain some respect later in life if need be.

nice. I liked when my boys were wrestling They decided not to this year. The oldest just started boxing.

Very cool! They look like tough boys. My son is a wrestler, is a junior in high school now. I love watching him, I feel like I’m in there with him. It’s a great sport for boys and young men. Teaches them hard work and discipline. Hope they continue to do well.

Thanks for the info bear tracker, I will have to look into that, GB is about a hour south of me, I also see there is a up power Wrestling club about 45 minutes from my house that allows any school districts to join.

We are a wrestling family. My advice is keep it fun for them. There is no better sport for a young man.

The condition of the furniture and walls in your house will never be the same. Had 3 boys who wrestled each 2 years apart too. The ended up wrestling D1. Just this past christmas my 28 yo planted my 30 yo through our coffee table. We did no renovations to our house until they all moved out. Those elbow and head dents in the drywall did bring back memories as I was patching them. Let them go at their own pace. Saw too many dads over push their little elementary phenoms and they never made it or panned out in HS.

They all had to wrestle girls so far. I told them no mercy lol girls are tuff when there young. One of the girls
My son beat went to state last year and did well. The mother came up to me after and said that I had a good wrestler on my hands and told me all about her. She was one proud mom

I saw some impressive girls wrestling at my son's matches. They did well with technique and that was enough at times but often even when they were better wrestler they got overwhelmed by the boys superior strength and stamina.
