It is a deer is what came to my mind. Man is the one that decided they were were something special. The bigger the horns the more special. Let nature run its course. It is what nature does. I can see you point since you are paid to save the deer. They would be much more important if I was paid to try to keep them alive too.

What? Don’t post while drinking. I’d put the deer down. Why watch something suffer when you have the capability to end its suffering? Hope you don’t have pets.
So if you’re traveling down the road and see a deer that’s been hit and it has a broken back struggling and screaming out, are you just gonna leave it? Man, I put any suffering animal out of its misery if I come across it. The size of the animal has no bearing on compassion.
And for the record, I get paid to remove critters and have listed the order that most landowners prefer and coyotes are at the bottom, lol.
