Let's see some off color ones from around the country

I seem to get them in every shade from blonde to silver to red. Here's a pic of some of the variation I see with two yotes that I got back from the tannery from
last year compared to the white tipped male I mentioned in another thread. That's before I put him up obviously.

Are all of your coyotes that color, or have caught and released the same one a hundred times? lol

Mine all look like this, get a red one once in awhile on the river bottom.
Have not caught one in about 5 years or so.

What are typical weights of eastern coyotes, largest I've caught in Mo is 42 but most adults are 33 - 38.

so for two years i weighed 30-40 coyotes for the two years my avg weight ended up being 42 lbs with all coyotes weighed on 50 lb scale so if they bottomed the scale it was recorded as 50lbs sexes ended up pretty equall over the two years the first year i caught more femalesthan males the following year more males the ratio was probably 6:4 each year as for colour variety caught every colour from almost pure white(white tipped with orange roots) to jet black
