Lincoln's brother EJ just called to let me know that Lincoln passed away in his sleep this morning. Those who knew Lincoln knows he was a man who lived and breathed fur. He was a fur dealer for so many years. It was always a great time to go to his place to sell fur, because you knew that it was not just a trip to sell fur, but a time to visit with a legend and great man. We're going to miss you Lincoln, rest in peace my friend.

I met him at a SE NTA convention a number of years back. The stories he was telling about the fur business in the 40s and 50s were fascinating. RIP

About all the old fur buyer's are gone now. Service's they provided are a thing this newer utube generation will never know or understand. Just another quiet piece of America gone forever which is sad. Nothing like hearing old fur buyer stories, what a life they lived!

Rest in peace Mr Lincoln. It was a pleasure to talk with him at the N.C. convention. He was a wealth of knowledge.
And an all around good guy.
