My cousin asked me to get him a couple nice coyotes and send them in to be tanned for him. I haven't put any up for a couple years because I didn't need any. Felt good to do a couple, glad I had the skinning machine too.

Very nice flipper. Even nicer bunch of stretches you have there in the corner.
I really enjoy putting up fur.
As I age I'm thinking of putting in a skinning matching too. Would like to see a picture of your base if you could please

I never turm mine fur side out if they are going to be tanned, much easier to rehydrate them and little chance of damage turning them fur side in by the tannery.

Those look like nicely furred dogs, and you have a tidy fur shed for sure.

I have not had any issues with the fur out sending them to get tanned. I turned them after about 6 hours with no issues. I like to see the fur and fluff them up.

Yep, always like to see them too. Do you leave ear cartilege in or out? I remove most of it but leave the edges so the ear still has a shape, that and it is easy to rip.

I remove all the cartilage, grab it with pliers and rip it off. I thin the face and lips and rub borax on the face and ears. No stinking coyotes in my shed! grin
