If I could trap anything once more I'd trap red fox back in PA in the 90's, nothing like a red on a frosty or snowy morning. I love trapping rats too, but never had a spot with good numbers, but love trapping them when I find them. Here in Iowa though very few reds and not many rats around me, so I focus on coons and coyotes, and I do enjoy trapping/snaring coyotes. Honestly heck I enjoy trapping everything! My ole partner Arnold and I used to say "If we make a catch and are not excited, then it is time to quit!" Even a doggon opossum can make me smile at times, if he is not in a goo canine set.
Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure

Mice Sorry I don’t have much of a repertoire. They’re very rewarding to catch. Had a problem with them at my place of work and I was catching them every day, sometimes doubles.

I absolutely HATE mole trapping. Now why would you want to trap our Tman morning greeter in the first place?

I haven't fur trapped in 10 years. I think I enjoyed catching gray fox and fisher the most. But, was happy anytime something stepped on the pan. I like catching nuisance skunks. I absolutely HATE mole trapping. I had to trap a mole at my mothers a few years back and I used the victor outta sight trap. It was quite the learning experience and it took me some hard lessons to figure out how to locate the tunnels and set the trap right with the dirt under the pan so they’d dig through and trigger it. Then I had to put a pot over it all so it stayed dark. Finally we were rewarded!
