Some of us have better things to do than watch men chase a ball. I had no idea it was today or who was playing untill I got to work.
If I want to watch something chase a ball I will play with the dog or the kids. And I don't believe I use a single product you have listed but could be wrong on the butt wipe. And have had sketches in the past and wife used to tube. Advertising if figured in and also a tax deduction. Is it something new to you this year?
Edit I missed Kroger wife shops there. I also have holdings in many of the companies and like seeing the advertising.

Interesting list.
I don't think buying expensive Superbowl ads will directly effect the end consumer. I think those companies are banking on a good increase in sales to pay for those ads.
The only thing on that list I consume is Dunkin, I love their coffee. I will keep an eye on the price per cup to see f it increases to pay for their Superbowl ad. It's been the same for over a year now.
I do occasionally use Google (prefer DukDuckGo) but it's free, so is Tubi (wife gets it).
I do have an Apple iPhone, get a used one every ten years or so. So I guess part of my money might have helped pay for a Superbowl ad?
We don't buy any of that other stuff. We do drink a lot of water but haven't eaten any grass clippings yet. LOL
Eh...wot?

J, if advertising didn't make the companies more money than why would they continue to do it year after year?

Those ads are a drop in the bucket for each company advertising budget. My point is how much cheaper could their products be if they didn’t spend 100’s of millions on commercial ads. Then teams couldn’t pay ridiculous salary to players of a “game”. For you investors for life. Think how much more your dividends could be without so much spending. In reality who sees a commercial and runs out and buys it. They do it because they know it pays to do so. They aren't spending that kind of money just for fun.

Sounds great, like staying alive in a third world country.

I didn’t even know what some of the commercials were advertising. Who was “The Brad” in that one flag football commercial?

It’s called capitalism,,,,,,the alternative really really sucks Yes, Id say Absolutely. A lot also goes into the consideration for advertising budgets and who they target. The goal is a return greater than investment.

Football is a game for tranies? Never would have guessed that with all the tman fans.
I drive a jeep and use google. Shower with dove soap. Nothing else on the list I use or eat. Unless its food I don’t eat it.

SB commercial was 8 million for 30 seconds. Guess we’re the cost went to? Paid for by the consumer! Who else but the consumer would be paying for any product ? Remember the old saying that "advertising doesn't cost, it pays." True story ! As far as investor's dividends go. let's just consider the Doritos and Lays Potato Chips you listed. Both of those snacks are owned by Pepsico. ( PEP) So let's say PEP paid 8 million dollars for a 30 second ad. But PEP has 1.38 billion shares outstanding. 8 million dollars divided by 1.38 billion shares means that those ads up front costs amounted to .006 cents per share.......or six tenths of a penny. Or six thousandths of a dollar. Not a huge impact on most shareholders.........but it is also a direct expense to the company and as such gets written off the corporate taxes, thus reducing the taxes paid to government. A win-win in my book
