My 2004 gave me the same issues it was just the plugs, throw a set of plugs and a new air filter in it then go from there, cheap easy fix once I figured it out.


Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that!

Rubicons are PITA to check oil and follow manual.

Also if Honda start loosing top end check exhaust restricted from loose baffles in muffler. Took me a year to figure that one out.

New plug seems to have fixed it. Or possibly sitting a week with the “gum out” in it? Either way, runs better now than it has in years!

Is gum out the brand name?? Or did you use something else

Brand = GUMOUT
Product = Fuel injector/carburetor cleaner
