3 to 5 a trap

You may have a few used trap dealers near you or who would price them for you as working used traps, what they would be willing to pay for them. I took a few dozen traps to a trap dealer once and told him what my plan was and he priced them for me and that is what I paid this person who wanted me to buy them.

I wouldn’t let him know anything. It’s a business deal, it’s up to the seller to do his homework. As the buyer in this case you’re not looking at collectible’s, you’re looking at tools to make money. Period. Friend or not I’d tell him my number, no more, no negotiation. He takes it or you smile and say thanks for considering me, later.
No explanations needed. Let him sell them elsewhere. The more you say the more he can and will twist things.
I’m with Boco, I don’t see much usable valu in those tubs.
