Caught this little 12 to 15 pound boar coon

I’m done for the year trapping most my coon spots. Only got 16 this year, not as much as I hoped for but I’m very happy with it and besides, i catch most my coons in the summer for ADC

Can you catch anything besides coon in dps?

I have heard that they will work for fox but I was not sure

kinda, these are push pull so if a fox will put its paw in there and dig around you can definity catch them. wouldnt target fox with them though

I've heard you can also catch possums and skonks in em

only caught one possum in them and ive only caught 2 skunks in them. they are the best trap for coons if you want to set quick. you ever used them coyotecowboy?

ive caught over 60 coon in them in the past 2 years. i dont have anyone helping me set either. feels great to be running a 100 percent independent trapline

Yup I have four of em but don't use em all that much, I've caught most my coons in cage traps

man cage traps round here get flipped over by coons, the sides get chewed out by coons and they bend them all up. we have some big coons round here. you should set dps more, they are an amzing tool for coon cachin

I stake em down pretty good so they can't flip em over, and I guess they don't like chewin' on em round here
That one I got a bit ago was a 17 pounder, probably not the biggest one i've ever caught though
