I think every website since around 2010 has a mobile version except this one. We can't use any emojis, can't just click/paste a photo. The facebook format would work so much better. No more pages of "quotes" in order to comment on a comment. Im on a hunt club forum with only about 50 members that is way better and more streamlined. Another is Maryland whitetail hunting forum. Quick, simple, click/paste photos in a mobile version format. Why is this one stuck in the stone ages ?

Alot of people on here don't like change, plain and simple. KISS if it ain't broke, don't reinvent the wheel all that........

Sometimes a mobile site is nice but often the desktop site gets neglected and I'd hate to see that.

I only have a phone and no home computer. I find this site just fine simple and basic

Thoroughly enjoy how Bossman runs this site, and I appreciate its simplicity and the common interests and stories shared on here from all over.

This thread reminds me of that old Pace Picante TV commercial. The cowboys all gathered around the fire for dinner. One asks, “same old grub, cookie?” The cook grumbles. One opens a jar of picante and notices its not their regular usual Pace Picante sauce and asks, what’s this? Reads the label, and yells out “Hey! this stuff’s made in New York City!” And one of the other cowboy looks angrily at the cook and tells the other cowboys to, “get a rope!”

Ohhhhh.... the "icons" are emojis to some of you. Haha sorry but no. So small and distorted they all kinda look alike without a magnifying glass.

You can use emojis here. You just cant use the ones from your phone. (well you can if you save them as a picture then upload them) Click the smiley face button above the text box.

The copy/paste thing really isnt a useful feature here. Its useful for stealing pictures from other places or for posting screenshots but just not something that we do here. I havent looked at what the newest version of the forum software has but there is a new version out there that has some quality of life fixes available.

As for the mobile site..they ALWAYS suck. Period. On my phone I usually have my phone grab the desktop version whenever possible.

Takes an IT degree to Post a picture from an Iphone currently ! Why deviate ?
