Bought a Subaru this year and my coworkers started calling me Scissors. I told them I have the same diet, and it’s undeniable. Honestly, it’s a great vehicle on winter roads.

Back seats laid down can haul a deer or all my trapping gear and dead beavers no problem - Jet Sled is the key for keeping things from getting too messy. Going to get a hitch gate and roof rack for additional storage.

before the baja they made the Brat, it was more of "truck" than the baja. It had just a single cab, small box.

made it from '79 to '94

I rode 820 miles to Canada in the back of a Subaru Brat in the early 80s. A buddy and I just had a sleeping bag each, that were not waterproof! Brats had factory rear facing seats with little hand grips and seat belts.

I had a Subaru in ealry 80's 70's model. A guy from Cali moved to northern WI and put it up for sale. It was front wheel drive, 4 cylinder, great mileage, and I could drive in the woods full of traps. Fit right between the skidder ruts the loggers left so I could get to ponds really easy. Had fully reclining front seats my girlfriends and I enjoyed as well. Great little care. We recently tried a SUV model and was told I was either a pothead or lesbian, I really had no idea about the label these days.
