2022 Shelby GT500H with just over 50k miles. With traction control on, punching it on interstate approaches is no big deal, back end just snakes a bit. TC off and in track mode it breaks loose at 60mph rolling start. It just wants to keep going when you punch it on the interstate, keeps pulling at 100mph like my old 5.0 at 30…lol. It’s still a mustang when you drive it, not fancy European muscle. Had the shakes for most of the day after dropping it off. The good shakes! And of course, the sound under the hood is wicked!

Fun Ride

Sounds like a fun day.

One thing I miss about wrenching at dealerships, was "test driving" the fun vehicles.

Never understood what 3rd through 5th gear were for in Vettes. 2nd gear would wind out to 90ish, then just slide it into 6th to cruise, LOL. Fun times.
They even had a lateral accelerometer in the heads up display. Could pull 1G (lateral) in corners, that was a heck of a feeling.

It was a lot smoother in Normal mode. Sport, Track & Drag the shifts got short and hard, exhaust changed too. If I accidentally hit a shift pad on the wheel, it’d stay in that gear, had to slide it into neutral and back into drive to get it back to automatic.
Well, now I know how 950hp feels like…lol
