RFrame trapper R Joined: Jan 2021 NM	Great pics, love the hounds! What kind of hounds do you run? Looks like a little bit of everything in all the pictures. I really like the looks of that blanket back walker dog. My hounds are mostly just southwestern cross bred dogs with lineage that goes back to some old time lion hunters. Right now I have three redticks and a bluetick but have had a little bit of everything.. I catch a few lions and bears, and an occasional bobcat but, the country I hunt mostly is big sandstone rimrock canyons and those bobcats usually disappear in a boulder pile.

bearcat2 trapper B Joined: Oct 2011 Idaho	Here's an Idaho one from today. You can't really see too well in the pic, but he ran into a wall, that is about a 70 foot rim behind the tree, he ran right to and then club.

Most people run about everything for a coonhound,walkers,english,plot,redbones,or blue ticks.The key is getting a hound that will tree by sight and his nose as bobcats will leap up into a tree and will change trees sometimes leaving very little scent at the tree. Drifter cold trailed a 12 hour old bobcat track out and jumped it less then an hour later the hunt ended!! And then this morning Rick found a nice big cat pushing 40lbs had just crossed the road so we asked the landowner for permission got the ok turned Drifter, and two other hounds in and an hour later he was wound down in a thicket and Sandy ended it!
