I have a very short water line(maybe 18 sets) and am a relatively new trapper. Normally I can scratch out at least a few muskrats or so a week but for the past week and a half it's just been empty checks. Could this possibly be just lack of animal movement lately or do I need to completely move everything? I just got some new otter sets in after finding some fresh sign but otherwise I have mostly bottom edge mink/rat sets or traps guarding small culverts

If you’re are targeting rats you should see next check results or there isn’t any there.

I'm more so targeting mink and gladly taking any incidental rats
