Well heck when the area is notorious for getting barges stuck in low tide you'd think they would let more slack on the shore lines so they would drift out more as the ride goes but hay I'm just a tankerman what do I know lol

gcs trapper G Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 4,103 coastal ny	Got stuck in the skiff bad in sept... apparently I wasn't quite where I thought I was, lol ran the boat up onto a flat with an out going tide, just 10' from floatable water and couldn't push it off. Sat there high and dry for 8 hours waiting for the water to come back, then still had to go and set the pots I was moving....long day, lol
