We always had “ the beast is dead” joy and laughter going on with moose. Hugs and joy, in the hunting party. Once back at camp with the animal hung and clean, the joy continues.

Most outfitters use the gutless method when breaking these animals down for a pack out. They don't open up the body cavity. But that would make a good photo shoot if they would have had her do it.

I've killed plenty of big game, mostly with a bow. I don't laugh as they drop, I feel remorse. My celebration is in feeding my family. To each their own. If you want, cheer the hero.

Joking aside, no matter where you go, there's gonna be libs that are very vocal about their beliefs. They seem to believe they're smarter, and if you would only do what they say life would be perfect, basically communism...
they'll lie, threaten, curse you, belittle, as if they can force their thinking into the "non believers". frustrating and hard to fathom. Closer you get to the big cities and college campuses the worse they get...no common sense, believe every thing they're told, and become good little comrades..
I have family like that, and we no longer talk, it's sad but necessary if you want to keep from killing each other, lol

If I felt remorse I would stop hunting or trapping. It's okay to be excited about a kill.

The day I don't get excited about a kill, that's the day I stop hunting. I've killed a lot of elk over the years. I still got as excited over the last one I killed as I did the first one years ago.
