around here a gun in the home is probably closer to 90%. i dont know anyone without one that can legally own one

Those who would give up essential liberty, to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety. Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790)

I’m with Danny. I don’t know anyone or any household that doesn’t have at one firearm. Heck, I don’t think I know anyone that just owns “one” firearm, lol. Must be a regional thing.

I believe that most households in rural areas have homes with firearms, while the city dwellers not so much.

John 14:6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."

I'm one of the majority who live in a home that does not have a firearm....they were all lost in a boating accident several years ago.

If the day comes and I hope it doesn't, let us know how that works out for you!

Just under half the house holds in the US? Seems super low, even for my area up in Canukistan. Out here, there’s a lot that our gov doesn’t know about. Rural people or farmers that only shoot a deer every few years, dispatch an animal, the old 30-30 by the door for anything from a shrunk under a porch to a bear in the corn. There’s usually one on dang near every tractor. Then there’s the old 12g singles that are probably sold along with old vehicles that the seller totally forgot about!…lol
Under the law, these old farmers are criminals as a lot of them don’t have a Licence or it expired in the 70s. The RCMP out here have no desire to cause a crap storm by confiscating and charging them. The rural cops get along real well with the locals, it’s the white shirts way higher up that frown on that.[Linked Image]
