Wonder how that will effect his rack development in the future? May keep him alive longer 1 if his rack will no longer grow to it full potential, 2 if he has no interest chasing doe's during rut. I have heard reproductive issues cause a crazy rack, no data to back that up just what I have always heard. I wonder if it will shed velvet though, his testosterone levels will be kinda low.....antlered doe I have noticed do not lose velvet very fast. I had one that lived here , she was velvet covered right thru November every year. My oldest found a shed if hers still half covered in velvet in February year before she vanished.

I'm sure that he's more concerned about that rack he left on the fence than any future rack that will grow on his head. On the bright side for him, that'll never happen again...

I have walked almost 1/2 mile out of my way to hang my buck nuts for the year on the neighbors fence where our properties join. We don't exchange Christmas cards either.
I have nothing clever to put here.

It’s 4:30 am and I haven’t been able to sleep. Thought I’d read a little Tman. Got to this thread and about wore myself out laughing. Sleep should come easier now.
