This will be the second year we are looking for folks to apply for the Charles Dobbins Scholarship. Below is information about the scholarship and application.

CHARLES DOBBINS SCHOLORSHIP FUND

The Purpose of this scholarship fund has been created in honor of CHARLES DOBBINS, to carry on the memory and pay tribute of an individual that has passed on while also giving back to well-deserving students. With this scholarship program we honor the loss, as well as contribute to the educational journey of students and future leaders that share the values that Charles Dobbins held dear to himself and his family.

1. This grant was created to assist first generation students studying wildlife management and wildlife science and or wildlife biology. There are no limit requirements in sex nor age.

2. The fund will award 2 scholarships @ $1,000.00 per scholarship. This will be awarded as a one-time scholarship per individual selected for that calendar year, for a total of one scholarship per individual selected @ $1000.00.

3. Each annual awardee will receive a monetary one-time cashier’s check limited to per year that application was received and chosen.

4. Annual submission application will be due May 1st . Grants will be reviewed by the committee and selection will be done by June 1st. Those chosen will be notified by June 10th and the cashier’s check will be sent by first class mail by June 15th.

We award these scholarships to contribute to individuals’ education and touch the lives of students by honoring Charles Dobbins and his legacy.
