1921 Winther Motor Truck Company.......Rotary snowplow with special spiked tires manufactured by the Winther Motors company, with factories in Kenosha, Wisconsin and Winthrop Harbor, Illinois....(Company name is spelled correctly.)

Over a hundred years ago they had the good idea to blow the snow away from the road and the ditches. Could be hard on buildings close to the road however. Doesnt look like the blower cap can be changed much if at all. Most roads back then were not asphalt as those tires would have done some damage.

Pretty cool. I have seen very similar large commercial snow blowers like that. They throw snow like no other for distance goes.

Never seen one mounted on a truck but have seen the ones like that mounted to the front of a locomotive
