Great price on those labs, $2000+ for them here in NY. I'm a yellow man.

If the dog is not registered with AKC papers they are NOT worth a lot. I would NEVER buy a dog without paperwork with a good family history. There is a reason you pay $3000 for a quality dog. Not just hunting quality but good medical background is very important. Here is a listing for AKC Ohio.

I got my second to last from him! Great dog but a tick got her before she was two years old.

I have nothing clever to put here.

Actually, the last one was worse. I gave an arm and a leg for a "silver lab". Beautiful dog but it would get mean for no reason. The first couple of times it got mean with kids, I wasn't there to see it and blamed it on the kids. I assumed they pulled her tail or something. The LAST time, I was with my best friend and his kids working on deer stands. Silvy spent the day playing with his kids and when we went to leave, the dog got in the truck and as soon as one of the girls got in, she drilled her. Bad. That did it. Come to find out, that was the 3rd pup from the same breeder the vet had put down that month. I had the best dog I could ever hope for and had her for 13 years and anything else will just be a disappointment.

I have nothing clever to put here.

We just crossed our Black Lab male to a chocolate female owned by a good friend of mine yesterday. 63 days from now there should be pups. 8 weeks after that they’d be ready to go. Not sure what colors will be thrown. Both parents are strong hunters. Both do waterfowl and upland. There may be a couple available depending on the litter size.

Who wouldn't want to take a lab puppy home on the 4th of July? (If my math is right)
