All, I am looking to either build or buy a fur shed so I can do my skinning, room for my hoist, freezer, fleshing beam, and of course drying furs. What size fur shed is suitable for most of you that have one. Pictures and building size would be greatly appreciated!

Thank You!

I built a 20x24 garage. Put in a ceiling, insulated it, lots of lights and a woodstove. I still filled it up. Build it as big as you can afford. You'll fill it up, too. It's what we do.

Depends how many you catch. IMO 24x24 should cover all you need. I got by in a 12X16 but I didn't put up the coons and beaver, just the fox, coyotes, mink and rats. No way I'd have room for hanging coons to dry. I agree with Calvin, build it as big as you can afford, you'll fill it up. One thing bigbob on here always mentions is a second story is cheaper than more floor space at ground level. You could store a lot up there.
