Never used one until today I’m a believer!!! Yesterday I went to leave in my ol 81 jeep j10 pickup and the battery was dead I got my charger and hooked it up and it no longer works (grandson was last to borrow it) so when I went to work yesterday i stopped by harbor freight and bought a jump box . While driving last night I charged it up to 100% got home this morning and tried my pickup again and still no start put the jump box on it turned key and it fired rite up so I’m saying I’ll go buy a new battery but with this jumper box it’s best $129.00’ive spent in long time I think as long as I can I’ll go get a couple more of them and put in wife’s truck and kids cars just in case

Just need to remember charging them up once in a while,,, which now reminds me to get mine from the truck and give it a bump....

I’ve had one for four years. I check it every six months, but it still holds a 98% charge. Started a 6.0 liter truck last month on a 12 below morning. Fired it right up. Works better than jumper cables.

I have a NOCO box in every vehicle and my boat. If you only use it once it pays for itself in my opinion.

I own 2 of those from Harbor Freight. They work great. I used it to start my old 93 Ford with a 460 motor. I put 1 in my side by side when trapping. I put on 60 miles a day, often miles from anything. Bought one for the lady to put in her vehicle. She works until 11 pm, usually the last to leave. Good insurance, although hopefully you never need.

When I am off trapping some wild place I take one of my boat batteries with me.

I have 2
keep one in each vehicle most of the time

bought the first one when I had a bad battery that was less than a year old , options were wait a couple hours for the tow truck to charge me 80 bucks for a jump start or I called and there was an auto parts store 2 mile walk they said yup they charge them when they get them as who needs an uncharged jump box , I walked it paid 129 for the new tool a battery jump box walked back started it up and went and got my warrantee battery the next day.

second one I was at fleet farm battery dead when I went out ,of course the battery jump box was in the other vehicle , walked in checked charge on the ones they had on the shelf 99 for this one , walked out started up

helped a bunch of people as well I hear a click and grab the box and offer them a jump most of the time if they dove there they will start right back up with a little help from the box

I have even started and run some cars completely off the box , was looking at a vehicle my neighbor but said it had a bad battery , so I started it up , decided I didn't want it when he raised the price when he realized it ran it had sat a year.

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

I’ve had a TackLife for a couple years. It has saved my rear many times. Never have to worry about dead batteries anymore and finding someone to jump you.

When my truck was in shop for engine swap, I was back to driving our ‘01 Camry to work. Battery was junk and was having fuel issues too. One day She died 3 times on me before I got out of the subdivision. Hopped out, hooked up the box and off we went again. Probably looked like a one man nascar pit stop every quarter mile.

Diane used our battery jump box yesterday, on a truck we only use on the farm for chores, that doesn't get driven enough to charge the battery.

I keep one in the snowmobile at all times. It's a 4 stroke and doesn't have a recoil.

Here at the house I have a battery charger with a 200 amp boost. Its a pain to run a cord out to a vehicle with a dead battery. Have started my semi with it several times. 40 amp charge for 10 minutes then 200 amp boost will start one. Pickup I just grab a boat battery or jump from another vehicle. I have a battery/alternator tester. I think I paid less than 50 bucks for it. I try to keep up on battery health. When there is a problem I fix it. Rather than using a spare battery to keep driving it makes more sense to me to go buy a new battery or alternator. I generally order the part from rock auto and let a vehicle set. Cant do that with a semi but I keep enough tools on hand to replace simple stuff like battery or alternator. last time I replaced the semi alternator I did it in the parking lot of Inland truck in Olathe. Hooked up jumper cables to a pickup and ten minutes later it turned over and started. One of those jump starter batteries could be handy in a wifes car but I figure that battery wont last any longer than the cars battery. From what I have seen a lot of people ignore battery alternator trouble till they cant anymore. Bad idea IMO. A 2 amp solar powered or plug in battery maintainer is pretty cheap for something that sits alot.

Bought 2 this fall and have used them both often to jump my old 4020 diesel tractor that needs new batteries - really like the one with compressor built in and use it about every other day on utv to air tire up
