dang that sucks, maybe try changing some things up? i am not a coyote trapper but maybe a different smell would get em excited

That's what I plan to do. I only have 2 lures, 1 bait and 1 urine so maybe getting old to them.

Also I somehow managed to miss a fox 6 times in a row with the .223 this morning.
That pretty embarrassing

At least you did better than me. I missed a fox 7 times throughout the day and he just kept following me down my rabbit snare line. I have had opportunities to shoot him since, but he since he has escaped me so many times I do t want to kill him for some reason. Sounds silly, I know, but I prefer to leave him be. I have too much respect for animal that does that to me.

I know what you mean husky but these foxes look pretty similar in the spotlight and their eye shine is the same, so maybe this one should start wearing a name tag and sunglasses so I can tell him apart from the rest.

He’s the only one that isn’t afraid to stand in the open when I’m around. If he comes across one of my sets, he is very careful not to go anywhere near it. When you see him for almost 3 years now, you get to know which fox is the who.
