2 packages ordered same day....1 from Colorado, 1 from Iowa. Both arrive at USPS center in Tallahassee, FL same day (Feb 16th)....one from Colorado delivered today. Other was supposed to be delivered today also. Now it's just sitting in Tallahasse, FL. Says Feb 22nd delivery now.
I despise ordering something and see that it was shipped via the US Postal Service.
I hope Elon and crew works on them next!

I shipped a package 2 weeks ago to 100 miles from here. It took 11 days for the guy to get it.
I have nothing clever to put here.

If you like gambling... send a perishable package USPS. Oops, your luck ran out.

Kansas City is no better, When package hit KC, add another 7/10 days. Letters used to take 2/3 days travel under 50 miles, now it's 10 days. Sent rifle stock to Ohio, for repair, shipped UPS, deliverd 3 rd day. When stock was finished, told person I'd pay UPS, he shipped USPS, took 22 days. Set in KC for 10 days inside a container. Had to get our local postmaster, to run it down. My biggest beef, having my VA meds, shipped. Were suppossed to wait 10/14 days before calling in refills. When I get my meds now wait 2 wks., order refills. Average wait time 21 days, for USPS, delivery. Have talked to over state senators, about this USPS, fiasco. When I buy stuff now If they don't offer UPS/FedEX, I canceal order who does, pay more but it shows up 3/4 days. Postmaster, here told me, problem, out laying areas, not priorty, and the new system is not working they lost billions, of dollars last 3 yrs

Got a Trappers World magazine delivered this month in one of those "We Care" envelopes when they damage your mail....Weird thing was the magazine was in perfect condition, so that seemed a little strange, but maybe not for the USPS.

I think for the most part the USPS does a great job. Folks only talk/complain when there is a problem. You never hear about packages arriving on schedule or earlier. I’ve had very good success with just about everything I’ve shipped or received.
Having said that - I currently have a package that is making the grand tour on the way from Iowa to me (north Idaho). Following the tracking number will give you a headache.
The small package was shipped from Iowa on january 31. It is currently “in transit “.
It has been to Des Moines. (4 times), Denver (2 times), Omaha, Portland, Salt Lake City.
I have no idea if/when I will ever receive it. I’m not happy but I find it very humerous. some where around 2 weeks or 4 trips around the country the algorithm must tell them hey go check for the package that has been following this trailer round for 2 weeks and never gets off loaded it would sure be nice if it was the day after it missed the delivery window.
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

I must grease the right palms. I've shipped somewhere above 1,500 packages via USPS doing ebay over the years and I count on two hands stuff that has taken way too long or just never arrived (I think 2 packages to HI actually got stolen at the arrival point). Full disclosure, I haven't shipped as much recently as in the past and I know that USPS has consolidated centers so who knows if my good luck/bribing the right people trend continues. I did get a non-ebay package from here to Germany starting in late December through about a week+ into January. I was truly surprised because I thought it would either get gonged with US Customs or German customs, although the guy who got the package had researched the German side and said it would make it. I never took his money until it got there, although I probably would have asked for 50% of the failed postage cost. P.S. We also don't have those dog looking coyotes around here either. I must be doubly blessed

I would have to say I have almost always had good luck shipping with USPS, I've shipped for eBay sales and sales I made on T-Man's Shed, over the years it must have amounted to a few thousand items. Off the top of my head I can only think of one time it was really late and that time was my fault as I printed the mailing label but forgot to mail the package. I guess there could be times things were a little late and nobody complained. My feedbacks on eBay and from sales on T-Man have been that I do fast shipping. On the receiving end I do not recall many problems, once in a while a payment may take some time, but even that does not happen very often. My biggest beef is some of the trapping magazines I get are damaged.
I got myself a seniors' GPS. Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination, it tells me why I wanted to go there.

I think maybe it has a lot to do with where you ship from. And why would this be?? It is because of the way the package is entered into the system and the sorting center it goes to. If you have competent employees on the sending end, you stand a better chance of things going well.
