I gotta dig around find some of the photos here from my parents and grandparents. Got one here somewhere that is a almost like the photo above. Is my father in-law on Canadian hunt. Them old timers didn't very many have a camera.

Most deer camps in my day had a buck pole and always did a photo similar as you’ve posted. Heck, ya had to hang’em to cool’em!! About the 3rd day of season our camp would take a drive by other camps to eyeball their buck poles. Maybe in today’s deer hunting world of political correctness it’s called a deer pole.

Having a hard time spotting the Sitka camo. Would have been neat to have been back then.
