I've been getting my boat batteries at Walmart, seems to be as good as any, Interstate though is a good name brand...

basically all lead acid batteries in the US are made by the same 5 companies and regionally it may not even be easy to find more than 2 available.

find the best warranty , expect that your battery will last give or take a month of the replacement warrantee time period they are engineered to do just that make it past the warranty by a few months.

compare dollars to CCA to warrantee for the best deal

18 months is getting popular as a warrantee , that way if you are typically replacing batteries on the oldest day/week of the year it gets the warrantee up mid summer when it isn't likely to fail.

a battery maintainer any time you are not using the car daily helps to make them last longer , slow charge them and keep the cook off to a minimum.

if you look at 2 batteries same company same size as an example a
Napa Proformer #65 the 18 month is 675 CCA and 41.5 pounds $140 = $7.77 a month
and the
Napa Legend #65 24 month is 850CCA and 46.5 pounds $200 = $8.33 a month

are 150 CCA worth 56 cents a month you decide.

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

Anything other than a Neverstart at Walmart !

I favor DEKA or Interstate and usually go with the AGM in my trucks and motorcycles.
