Deerhunter82 OP trapper Joined: Feb 2024 Posts: 37 NY	NYS DEC regulation states: You may not set a trap on or within 15 feet of a beaver dam, den or house, measured at ice or water level, except under the following conditions. “Measured at ice or water level” - does that mean I can set at any distance under water? Looking for some clarification so I’m within the law. Figured I’d try here before I called the Forest Ranger. Thanks in advance for responses. God bless.
