No one else has been going out lately. Wonder why.

Was guys stranded all over here trying to ice fish. Every pond is solid slush with a foot and a half of snow overtop

I always carried snowshoes on the Tundra for that very reason. I only had to walk out once. I cut a bunch of Popple poles, criss crossed them and got the machine up on top of them. By morning it was all froze hard as a rock and I could have ridden a bicycle in on my track.

I have nothing clever to put here.

Just got back from ONT north of Vermillion Bay. Did quite a bit of running around on sleds fishing and back and forth to new building. We didn't run into any slush, even close to shore. Was kind of surprising.

Same here. Saturday was probably the worst ice fishing trip I've ever had. We had a really tough time getting out about a mile due to slush. Snowed 8 inches while we were there , and that was the straw that broke the camels back. I thought I was going to have to leave the machine on the lake. Finally got it in after almost 2 hours. Took all day on Sunday to thaw it out. The fishing was terrible also.

Great tip for those of us not used to snowmobiles

If you don't blow the slush out of the track and then get it up out of the soup, the next day you will have a REAL mess!
