Got something positive to say for Trump's pick as Health Czar. He's going to try to tackle removal of sugary junk food from SNAP benefits. It's crazy that we taxpayers pay for junk food and then have to pay for them getting treated for obesity related diseases later. Hurrah for Kennedy!

Be good to see them fix this, hate being in line behind these folks. Two carts of junk food and steaks maybe bottled waters to dump and collect the deposit. Meanwhile I have the handheld basket that cost $100 bucks to supplement what I froze in fall hunting season.

Yep,

Behind one a month or so ago and her card didn't have enough on it. Told who I'm assuming to be her daughter to try hers, and hers went thru.

Keep watching Beaverpeeler with an open mind, lots of good things going down!

I’d like him to go after the OTC supplement market, starting with the drug that claims to improve our memory.

Don't agree with him on everything, but glad he got in.

The first bottles of Coca Cola contained 3.5 grams of cocaine. That's how our grandparents were able to walk to school uphill both ways in the snow.

Sugar growers and sugar industries will hate it to no end. I also agree on these changes and my hat goes off this administration for tackling issues that needed to be taken care for years. The only thing stopping this improvements over the years was politics and votes politicians didn't want to even bring up.
I hope things get bettah and issues taken care off and followed through the years to come.

If the government would stop subsidizing crops maybe the junk food wouldn’t be on the programs in the first place. They’ve got to find somewhere to put all the corn biproduct they subsidized

I think it was Bernie who grilled him about the covid vaccine at his hearing. Five years later about the covid vaccine.

The covid vaccine didn't work, the government knew it didn't work, and they forced in on the public anyway.

The Israeli gov knew from the start the vaccine was only good for couple weeks.

Our government apparently still not done lying about it.

We (America) produce about 4000 calories per day for every man, woman, and child. Way more than we can responsibly eat. Somebody's gotta eat that crap. So, in order to make us want to eat all that stuff (mostly refined grains and sugar), it's highly processed, pumped full of artificial colors and flavors to make it more appetizing, and we're told it's good for us. (Eat your froot loops! It's part of a nutritious breakfast!)

Trump made a good decision hiring RFK jr.

I’m optimistic he will make some good changes. Unfortunately, unless it comes in the form of more regulation for the companies that make that stuff, then I don’t think it’ll make much difference for the population as a whole. Only the weird ones like me who look at ingredients list. My in laws believe that “if it were bad the government wouldn’t let it be in our food.” They are sadly not the minority in that view among people I know.

Same here. I think that’s why I appreciate Trump so much. 10 years ago I would have had a hard time listening to anything Kennedy said but he’s definitely onto something when it comes to processed food. I also knew when I voted for Trump that I could be voting for a dramatic change on how we farm. I’m pretty sure we may see a few of our herbicides go away. MAGA
